Care Care/Dispatch Team Member:
ICS, has immediate career opportunities available in our state-of -the- art monitoring and Customer Care Center located in Downtown Columbus, Ohio. We are seeking candidates who are looking for full time employment Monday Thru Friday with the flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and/or other shifts as needed. We strive to offer flexibility in our scheduling to support in achieving the work and family balance needed. Our highly trained and customer-driven Customer Care/Business Development Team Members provide focused monitoring on burglary, fire and medical alarms for both residential and commercial customers in our fast -paced, state of the art monitoring call center. Our Central Station Operators monitor and verify alarm signals and field incoming and outgoing calls and email communication providing an unwavering commitment to the highest standards of service for our customers. Here is what you will do and what is needed to do it! Monitor and respond to alarm signals in real- time using alarm monitoring software while navigating multiple devices. Active listening skills and quick and accurate decision- making abilities are necessary for success and you guessed it, multi-tasking and the ability to juggle multiple tasks is required. Place outgoing calls to verify an alarm, dispatch proper authorities and notify responsible parties in a professional and calming manner. It goes without saying that you will need a commitment to customer service excellence, quality phone skills, and excellent verbal communication skills. The ability to remain calm and manage your stress level is required and highly appreciated by our customers. Document all alarm responses and perform fact-finding tasks following the standard operating procedures that you will learn in a specialized training program tailored to your learning style over a four weeks and continual training for growth and development after that. A willingness to learn, a commitment to follow procedures, being detail-oriented and possess the ability to problem solve is required. Provide troubleshooting support to our customers via phone and email and facilitate the placement of service tickets and participate in verifying the correct receipt of signals for our Service and Installation Technician team. Your ability to work independently and as a high functioning team member is a necessary qualification. ICS wins when the whole team wins! Teamwork is one of our core values! Qualifications/Abilities Must be 18 years of age with High School Education, GED or equivalent. Proficient computer skills and computer functions including Microsoft Windows with the ability to type at minimum 20wpm. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. is needed. Proven reliable work ethic. Our customers count on us so we need to be able to count on you! Positive, can- do attitude and the ability to maintain stress under pressure. The passion to work in and contribute to a healthy work environment. Previous call center experience and dispatch experience is preferred, although not required. Compensation and Benefits include a starting rate of $10.00 an hour with an opportunity for $15.00 per hour after successful performance metrics are met after time. Our Low Voltage Technologies Group is experiencing exciting and rapid new growth. We've added an entire new security product line, as well as secured contracts from internationally known companies. Technical Responsibilities

Perform cable/equipment installations as directed by the Sr. Installer/ Crew Leader and per the manufacturer’s guidelines.
  • Adhere to all of the company’s policies, practices and procedures.
  • Adhere to all of the companies safety, appearance and demeanor guidelines.
  • Follow all of the customer’s policies and safety compliance rules while on the job site.
  • Other specific duties as directed by the Sr. Technician/Project Manager.
Qualifications
  • Possess a High School Diploma or a GED Certificate.
  • Possess a keen desire to be a team player and succeed in the technologies business.
  • Must become certified on company approved structured cabling systems installation and termination procedures.
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
Team ICS will provide on-the-job training in all areas of safety, including flagging certification, tool operation and maintenance.
